Attention ladies and gentleman, Vernon Downs Casino Hotel is Open. with the following exceptions: The Live Entertainment in Ring Eyed Pete’s is canceled until further notice. Champion’s Buffet is closed until further notice. The Wedding Expo on April 5th has been cancelled. All other areas are fully operational. Sometimes you just can’t make up your mind. And that’s exactly what The River Buffet excels at. You don’t have to decide. From American classics, Mexican fare and brunch to all-you-can-eat crab legs and perfectly carved ribs, you can have a taste of it all.

If you are a seafood fan, you definitely will not want to miss the Festival Buffet. Action stations feature chef-prepared specials changing on a daily basis. Main foods to include creoles, blackened fish specials, shrimp and grits, Cajun seafood cakes, and other buffet favorites.
The Festival Buffet also features a selection of meats, seafood, vegetable, omelets to order, lunch specials, down-home southern cooking. If there is a food you crave, you can almost certainly find it at the festival buffet.
Additionally, for the kid in all of us, the Festival Buffet proudly offers a world-class dessert station. The dessert station features desserts prepared daily, a waffle station, bananas foster, home-made donuts, soft-serve ice cream and yogurt, an ice cream sundae bar, and sugar-free fare.
