All Players must be registered members of the National Pub Poker League. Minimum age to play is 18. Photo Identification is required for players joining NPPL. Players failing to produce Identification will not be registered or allow to play in the league. The League was exclusionary in that it was only open to poker players who met certain qualification criteria for multimillion-dollar lifetime earnings, multiple wins and/or cashes at high level tournaments, and who were supposed to maintain adherence to a specifically defined Code of Conduct.

The National League of Poker has begun running qualifiers for its first ever main event seat in the WSOP. The Main Event Mania Tournament Series will run now through April, with the final being held on Sunday, April 22.

After recently being acquired by Cafrino, NLOP has seen some substantial changes. Shortly after the acquisition from NYX Gaming Group, NLOP announced the $10,000.00 Poker Summit. “We saw remarkable success with the $10,000.00 Poker Summit” explained Mike Murphy, CEO of Cafrino and NLOP. Murphy added: “Once the Poker Summit was heading to a close, we wanted to do something bigger… something that would really appeal to players, above and beyond a cash prize.
