One of the most sought after services of the New York Council of Problem Gambling are our trainings. We utilize top notch training professionals to develop and deliver our educational programs and we are proud to be recognized as the leading experts on problem gambling in NYS.

Links are provided to facilitate the dissemination of information to the public about problem gambling and gambling disorder. The Nevada Council will not knowingly provide links to online gambling sites, but encourages all Nevada gaming operators to provide links from their sites to ours, for the benefit of their customers and the public at large. STUDIES IN GAMBLING ADDICTION COURSE LIST University of Minnesota Duluth Center for Economic Development and North American Training Institute (NATI) have collaborated to offer this 60-hour online professional development certificate. Haskins is an Internationally Certified Gambling Counselor- II, Board Approved Clinical Consultant, International Clergy Lay Problem Gambling and Spiritual Outreach, and Master Addictions Counselor. She is President of the Maryland Council on Problem Gambling and is a recognized leader for 20 plus years in disordered gambling. As such, online counselling is an attractive service option for new treatment seekers, males, those who gamble online and family or friends of problem gamblers. Online counselling experiences. People with gambling problems who engage in online counselling typically respond positively to a single session.

All NYCPG trainings satisfy the New York State Office of Addiction Services and Supports (NYS OASAS) requirements for Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) and Credentialed Prevention Provider (CPP) with gambling specialty designation clock hours. Our OASAS Education and Training Provider Certificate number is 0367. All NYCPG trainings have been approved by the National Council on Problem Gambling for Continuing Education Units. All NYCPG Training Institute faculty members are certified professionals with demonstrated expertise in their training area.
